Part 1: Part 2: My tips for future Multigenre explorers. I can remember going through the creation of this project and thinking wow I should have done that earlier. I will give you the simple and obvious tips first. As you will be told in the beginning of class, absolutely make sure that you spread your attention to doing the support assignments throughout the week. Do not let work pile up because you can run into all kinds of computer glitch problems. Also, when choosing your essential question take your time and truly find something that is of upmost interest to you not just your audience. It will take a while to narrow the question down to just the specifics of what you actually want to research. So allow yourself time to do this. As you are going through the research process of finding information you would like to report, document the information immediately for your reference list. I made the mistake of taking information but not documenting it immediately and I had to do that at the last minute. It was a real pain. Also, when creating your weblog topics list, make sure that you plan this out well. Try to consider that the reason for categorizing your support assignments into topics allows you to provide easy links to this information. This is important at the end of the semester, when you are trying to provide a easy way for people to surf through your weblog. Do not be afraid to ask questions. You will be quite suprised how many people are asking themselves the same question. Our class became very helpful in helping each other out with solutions to problems and questions. Be courteous and read your classmates work and comment when you can because this is very helpful to everyone in this creation process. ... Link |
